Some more God sightings.

The other day I was going to buy new work boots, but as we arrived at the last stop light just before the store, there in front of us was a long line of stopped cars. In the distance we could see a firetruck with flashing lights. Assuming that it was an accident, we  knew from experience it could take a long time to clear out the traffic.  This blocking of our plans later turned out to be a positive God sighting.

And at just a moment there was another God sighting: as we were first in line at the stoplight, I could do a u-turn and escape from the traffic jam.

Then a couple of days later, I got an email from the store saying that because I have a birthday this month, I would get $10 off any purchase over $50! God knew that was coming and prevented me from buying too early. A very small detail, but God is at work in all the details.

Then today another God sighting: we went to the Kidney doctor, and he announced to us that Barbara’s kidney effectiveness had moved from 29% up above %40! That’s a huge jump in a week, and both takes her out of the danger zone, and indicates there may be  more improvement.  The doctor also determined she has  another UTI and gave us meds for it.

God sightings, His hand seen, a chance to grow in faith, and the possibility to tuck those God sightings away in our memories to help us have a biblical perspective in the next challenge that will come. God has a plan and we can trust Him no matter what! Are you seeing your God sightings?
